If it makes you feel better, I'm a nurse and earlier this year I made my DD suffer through two days of high fevers and complaining before I took her to the GP where we were given a LAUGHING diagnosis of tonsillitis! (If I didn't know my GP so well I'd have clocked them for laughing! It was one of those "You dill" kind of laughs). She was so bad that I almost took her to the hospital that night for IV fluids...

Keep pushing the fluids and panadol (I also gave neurofen at the same time as panadol for pain relief) and keep up the AB's. She should pick up withing 48 hours.
