It is such a hard time!!!!!

When DS first started pulling himself up on things it was sooo scary!! he owuld let go of what he was holding onto- lose his concentration and just fall flat on his back hittin ghis head!!! The first time my DH saw it happen ( and i was right next to DS BTW- but it just happened sooo quick!!!) he was so upset!! By then though i had seen him do it about 3 times a day lol so i said- he will be right!

You can try to be there every second- but they do have to learn their own limitations and they need to learn how to do things. My way of thought was that- i can hol dhim every time he stands up and tries to walk- and sure he wont fall down- but i cant do that his whole life. So i decided i had to gringe and bear it and let him learn. They do find their balance and they learn eventually.

One tip i can give you - is if dd ever falls over and cuts her mouth- sugar stops the bleeding right away!! My aunty gave me that tip!! I have had to use it a few times!!
