Oh Bec (and others), I hear you. I have divided Jack's childhood so far into phases.

First there was the non-talking phase.

Then the "no" phase. I decided that they learn the word "no" early on because they hear it so often, as in "no Jack, please don't climb up that".

Then, the "gimme" (give me) phase - "gimme bikkie, gimmie milk, gimmie some" etc etc

Then the quetions phase "where, why, who, what". We are currently going through this one, the questions are endless. And it is leading into the next phase, which I think lasts for a very long time......

My advice is enjoy the "no" phase while you can. It gets worse!
