Question NO FEAR - the good and bad of it?

I love the fact that DD1 is a very full on little girl, she loves climbing, running, jumping and pretending to be a 5yr old boy... she has character and i LOVE that about her....

    BUT..........

She thinks every dog is as friendly as ours
She loves talking to strangers and will follow ppl ANYWHERE
She plays with spiders (eww gross)
Climbs things, falls off and is back doing it 5min later
Today she went on a pony ride, no mummy just the strange man leading her and she didn't even care (the other mums at MG didn't even ATTEMPT their kids on it)

So these are all wonderful things BUT how can i teach her about dogs, stranger danger and being safe without scaring the crap out of her?

I know she's only 18mths and doesn't understand but she thinks she is indestructible and as much as i am used to it now and don't stress about it too much sometimes i worry she's going to do some serious damage.

    Hey Zara,
Kids are so innocent, its just sweet.
My DD sounds much the same, she is too friendly. Will talk to absolutely anyone, and sometimes it breaks my heart if its to another kid, and that kid tells her to "go away" or something rude. I feel like it crushes her little spirit..

Maybe you could tell her that only her dog is for patting/playing with? (In a way she could understand, obviously). That way she will know not to go near other dogs (whether they be vicious or not).

I have no idea about the stranger danger, I guess she is still a bit young to understand the whole concept.
