It's not so much the actual number that's bothering me, more the fact that he's not gaining.
How many nappies should he have a day? Most days it's 4 to 6 wet (this concerns me a little) and 1 or 2 poos.
I try to give him water throughout the day but he mostly just spits it. He also has 4- 6 BF's a day.
He produces tears when he cries, has an abundance of syliva (lol), plenty of energy- although he still has 3 sleeps a day and can only manage 2hours between sleeps still.
He's been fluctuating between diarrhea and constipated the last week, but I think that he's teething?
He's due for a check up in the next couple of weeks so I'll talk to the doctor then but would like to hear your thoughts.

kelebek- not really, he's been in size 0/1 for the last 3 or 4 months. But I bought his clothes baggy so they'd last longer.
His feet have grown a little and he's grown a few cm's in length but not much, he's not any thinner I dont think?
Ooh but I've just realised he is growing too long for his sleeping bag.
Can I say that he sounds perfectly normal? He is doing what he should, his nappies sound fine and his feeding sounds fine. They really do slow down the weight gain around this age and have real growth spurts. Go with how the clothes fit, and how active he is more then weight gain as they are more reliable.
DS gained very slowly between 9-20 months, then had a big growth spurt.
If he's growing in length and everything else is good, then he's probably fine.
