Jade, I'm afraid I haven't had experience with extended wrapping as neither of my boys liked being wrapped after 3 weeks anyway (even less for Jack!). But I wouldn't be worried - if Annika needed not to be wrapped I'm sure she'd let you know. If the article is the only reason that you are worried about her development then I wouldn't worry at all.
