My little guy is 15 months and still the booby monster. He now loves his finger food but if offered he'll happily give it all up for the chance to snuggle and feed. It's hard to realise that it's perfectly natural and normal for older babies to still only be breastfeeding. The commercial baby chains make big money from marketing their wares and pushing their products to the unsuspecting general public and soon the natural side of raising babies is forgotten.

You could think of it this way... if your baby is able to walk and get her own food then you can slow down her breastfeeding times, otherwise if you're able to do so then give her all that she wants when she wants. She's your best guide.
