The questions we get most often from other people about our babies...

I get asked "is it a boy or a girl?" which is kind of silly when she's wearing a pink dress and pink tights. I think its because she doesnt have much hair, but still, the all pink should be a bit of a give away.. in my opinion (although i think its ok to dress boys in a bit of pink too but since when do you dress a boy in a pink dress?). Lots of people just come up to me and say "how old is HE?".

I got that with DD1 all the time. She was a baldy baby, but ALWAYS in pink!
Once she had on a pink hat, pink & orange shorts, & pink crochet tie up top & STILL got asked if she was a boy or girl!!!

Since having Jesse -

yes we know what causes it
yes we finally got our boy
yes daddys proud
& yes they ALL have the same father!!!!

Oh & no Jesse isn't circumsised. Why? coz I said so, thats why!

i get asked " whats wrong with his eyes ??" nothing actually ( but he does look a bit crosseyed , but they are fine , just wish ppl would stop briinging it up!!)

and also " wow what do you feed him , hes a big boy , which side of the family does that come from ??? " .. um be barely eats , he is always too busy running around , and wtf do you say to the last bit ....

When DS was 8 weeks I got asked "what does he eat? Is he on solids yet?" The girl who asked me was quite naiive. She looked at me oddly when I said he just has breastmilk!

On the weekend, we were at the shops and the shop assistant stuck her head in the pram and said "oh he must be..what...1 month old?" I replied back with "no, he's 3 months" and she gave me a disapproving look and said in an equally disapproving tone simply "oh he's small"....grr needless to say I didn't buy anything!

My response to the 'is he a good baby' question is 'no, he's awful, but we lost the receipt / the warranty is voided once you take them out of the packaging so we can't return him to the shop'.

Or 'where's your baby today?'. Response: (looking around frantically)... 'oh, sh*t, where did I leave him this time'.

But unfortunately most of the responses I get (even as a babywearing, publicly breastfeeding mum) are overwhelmingly nice so I don't get a chance to use any of my good comebacks.

I can't stand the is he a good baby question either. I have a similar comback to suse where we have said, he's alright but we cut the tag off and can't take him back.

or look a little closer you can see the 666 tattoo on his head.

where is your bay? is another quetsion I get asked, I like - left him in the car at the casino, or left him at home 'cause he was getting on my nervs, oh what your not supposed to do that? why didn't anyone tell me!!

but one that really gets my goat is when people are geneuinley surprised when they find out he is still bf.

oh and he looks like his dad, you didn't get a look in did you? I can see little bits of me, like his temper

most of the time though i'm too damn slow to get anything funny out, and I find myself saying 10 mins later, oh I should have said this or that
