Rice cereal is pretty crap - have you tasted it? YUKKO!
I know! She is such a clever cookie too!! Almost crawling and she copies what we say and even fake coughs when we cough. Its been great having michaels dad and step mum here as they have been such a huge help makes dealing with stuff a lot easier and i can get some time to myself where as before i was alone.

Might as well feed her carboard actually. Look around and see what else is available if you continue giving her solids. Always keep the milk first though (I think you got that part already yeah? lol).
I'm definitely a fan of starting food later, but some kids appear to go for it early.
I'm trying to hold off as long as i can. I just don't want her to grow up! But yeah if i HAVE to feed her solids ill try find something with a bit more yummier flavour.
Try just mashing some broccoli, cauliflour, carrot & maybe a little bit of sweet potato together if you want to do it that way. Cheaper option to do it yourself & it tastes alot better! Is also better for herYou can then freeze it in an ice tray & use a cube at a time
You could also check around the boards for info on BLS, baby led solids. You give them foods they can feed themselves. Alot of people don't feel comfortable with that idea though. It is there if you want to think about it though![]()
Sorry to hijack... But my DS is 11 months next week and fully breastfed. He basically has his morning feeds (one when he wakes and then when he has a nap. So about 7 and again at 930ish) and sometimes won't bother with one again anywhere between 3 and 5 (I 100% demand feed) Should he be still having milk four hourly at his age? And before every meal?
helle - i don't think that's a problem at all. as you're demand feeding then it's simply that - as often as he wantsfwiw, my DS was still feeding similarly at the same age. we fell into the same pattern for morning feeds - which basically meant before food anyway & then in the afternoon before his nap & a late arvo feed before dinner or sometimes just before bed.
I won't repeat what's already been said, but both my boys started after 6 months and the only feeding problems we had was due to tongue tie![]()
