I have been rocking my bub to sleep for about 4 months now (the first 3 months was because he had major reflux and the doctors kept saying he was okay)...but yesterday I started putting Riley to sleep in his cot (he's just outgrowing his pram/basinette now) and after some/a lot of screaming he finally settled himself and slept. I had to pat, sing and even have my face real close to his before Riley would relax enough to sleep.

I don't think there's any particular age to do stop rocking a bub to sleep, I just think you do what you can to cope...don't let anyone tell you that there is a definite way to do anything.
