She just cut her first tooth :o) What can I do for her?

Wee sausage is in a bit of pain. Keeps screaming out and her wee tongue is furiously rubbing on her newly cut bottom tooth.

It also seems to be causing her a bit of discomfort when she feeds - which is her usual comfort - I can make anything ok by feeding. Not today though

What can I do for her? She's had a bit of nurofen and is asleep just now.

So very excited that my baby has a wee tooth there but sad that she is sad.

a cold wash cloth, wet a little section and place it in the freeze it for a few mins, the cold helps relive the pain and swelling. also curash have a oral pain relier, like bonjella but it dosent smell or taste as bad!
good luck, hope it stops hurting and she gets use to it soon as theres more were it came from!!

I second the amber necklace!! I got one for DD when she was about 10 months, but I wish I'd gotten it earlier!
Does she have any teething rings? One of them straight from the fridge is nice to chew on, or a cold washer does just as well.

The amber teething necklaces work a treat, also I really like the Brauers homeopathic teething drops. I've always found that between the two of them we can usually avoid panadol and nurofen (and my DS was a terrible teether who would be up crying for hours at night before I discovered these gems) GL hun
