Oh Ezymay I'm sorry to hear she got hives! With us, DS came out in hives a few times (all over) and we didn't ever work out what it was... but we did end up doing skin pr!ck allergy tests which showed up some food allergies. Once we stopped the offending foods... no more hives (even though I never worked out if there was a direct link with the food at the time of the hives - unless he happened to get a batch of EBM full of that particular food!?!?). We were also prescribed (eventually) zyrtec drops for if he got them - cos he was a very unhappy little chappy at the time. A cold flannel also seemed to help relieve the itching a bit.
As far as I can tell, no issues with our washing power so far!
