My son is now 12 weeks old and I was having huge issues with his sleeping. He was extremely tired during the day and would only sleep if I was holding him - which really isn't all that convenient. I would literally sit on the couch for a couple of hours while he slept, just so that he would be in a good mood for a while. My husband would get home and NOTHING had been done and I was stressed beyond belief - was my life going to be like this forever???
I was surfing the 'net one night for a solution when I bought a CD called "It's time to sleep" over the internet - I wanted to try anything. Have any of you heard of this? It has saved my life. I've varied the instructions on the CD a little to suit Daniel but now he sleeps REALLY well. Lastnight was from 9pm to 7am!! I got a sleep in. He also sleeps during the day every two hours - even a 20 minute sleep seems to make a huge difference to his mood. Currently he is having his afternoon sleep which usually starts at 1pm and goes to 3pm.
He woke up at 5am this morning, I heard him on the monitor, but he put himself back to sleep. 3 weeks ago, if I'd heard him, I would have gotten up to feed him but he is learning that when he is in bed, it's time to sleep!! Just great!!
