    Question Standing in Grobag?

Charlie has been in a Grobag for several months now as he was always all over the cot. He wouldn't know what to do with blankets, I tried one night & think that upset him more as he didn't know what they were LOL.

He's just learnt to pull himself up on things & always stands in his cot in the arvo when we dont us the Grobag. Thing is now he's trying to do it a night when he wakes up or is upset. I have heard a thump a couple times lately & gone into him crying & not thought much of it...but tonight he went to stand up when I came in & I saw him fall **thump** head first into the corner of the cot. Needless to say several tears.

Has anyone else had this?? Should I perhaps take him out of the bag...or do they get used to it? Or is it just my bubba

Seth did it, and then he got used to it and was fine. He can even walk in them now LOL! I know its awful, but he only fell a few times and every time we tried to go without the sleeping bag, there were more tears than when he bumped his head!

I think they do get used to it!?
Aidyn was in a grobag until over 2yo (except for in hot summer), and he even mastered the art of walking in it LOL.

The moment my daughter started doing the exact same thing ... Standing up in the Growbag & then bashing her little head by accident on the side of the cot ... I then gave the Growbag a miss & went back to blankets !!

Ash is still in her growbag and even runs in it now!
Yes we had tumbles when she learnt to stand but even without the growbag still fell in her cot til she mastered how to sit down herself. We can't use blankets cause she kicks them off then cries cause she is cold!
