We have a Maclaren here too! i love it! i got it for the same reason you need one, i was sick of lugging the big pram in and out of the car, especially for quick trips. The Maclaren is great i can fold and unfolded it with just one hand if i have too. Its sturdy and i ds seems quiet comfy in it
