The things that make it worth it

Well for the past 8 weeks of DS2's life have been really hard on me mentally and emotionally. Things are starting to look up now. But looking back i can finally see how i made it through.

Just a few things that made it all seem worth it..
His first smile (at me)
Him smiling while breastfeeding (my fav!)
His first baby "conversation"
Snuggling into my neck when i put him up on my shoulder
And just now he is doing the cuuutest little buzz snore in his sleep!

Oh Antheia, that is so beautiful. Those little moments make it all worthwhile don't they? I'm glad things are getting a bit better, those first months can be tough You are doing a great job!

Sometimes I say to my little one, that I'm going to put that smile in my pocket for later when I need it

My DS usually ends up in our bed during the night and sleeps inbetween DH and myself.
He usually shares my pillow and we end up back to back and in the morning if he wakes up and I'm still asleep he'll twist my head around to his and smother me with kisses, I swear my heart just melts and it could be 5am and I don't mind being woken up, how could you with a gorgeous little thing like that?

Antheia, thats so lovely.. they really do make you melt don't they! reaidng that just reminds me of all the gorgeous things ds did at that age.
