I know my DS still has reasonably sloppy poos - much like squished peanut butter ;-) And he does between 2 and 4 a day... so its a joy isn't it![]()
Not a lovely question to throw out there I know, but us mums...our lives revolve around the toilet when we have a toddler right?!! Just wondered though, my DS is 21 months and he does 2 to 3 poos a day. Seems heaps to me. Especially when I have a four month old who is also in nappies. The poos are a real sloppy and squishy peanut butter consistency. He eats relatively healthy with wholegrain bread and fruit and veg (when he takes it). Does this sound normal?...cant wait till hes toilet trained.

my DD (20 months) does about 2 - 4 a day too with varying consistency. She's started to become aware of it too and yesterday took off her nappy twice and did a poo on ground and then later in her cot to show me. Nice. Washing machine worked overtime last night....
Once a toddler that is eating a full adult diet (ie the same family food) is doing three or more loose stools in a day, every day, is when it could be a concern. Have a look at this thread thread about Toddler Diarrhoea (which is a medical condition) that I started just over a year ago.
