I was rushing to get to an appointment last week, so when DS - 15 months - awoke from his 12 hour sleep I sat him in his highchair and fed him breakfast pretty much straight away (after changing a dirty nappy first).

Usually, he would wake-up and play for a bit before having breakfast.

Well, DS's breakfast didn't stay down for very long. Not only was a rushing to get somewhere - I had the added bonus of having to clean up freshly chucked up breakfast too - it was in the highchair tray, down his clothes, in the high chair seat!!!

This is not the first time this has happened. First time, I thought - okay a bit strange. Second time - I think, may be a coincidence. Third time - I am thinking maybe there is a pattern to this.

Is this normal? Has DS got a particularly sensitive stomach that needs to wake-up a bit before he eats? Does the stomach sleep longer than the rest of the body?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

PS. Next time, I think I will have to wake him up and let him play a bit before breakfast if I need to I go somewhere. I hate doing this. Usually, I just let him sleep until he wakes by himself!
