My son has one and he loves it, has developed his own way of swimming and is very independent in the water, he insists on swimming on his own.

That said, I have to get him into swimming lessons so he learns to swim properly. He was in lessons but hated it and would completely freak out so we decided to ignore technique and just have fun and build confidence which the wahu gave him. But he's almost 3.
