Jessica I agree with Sammi, maybe just let him lie there and see if he will put himself back to sleep. If he is not upset, but just making happy noises, it won't hurt him to lie there. I do this with Alana and most of the time she puts herself back to sleep. I think its good to try and teach them to put themselves back to sleep.
