DS#1 weaned himself off his grobag when he was 2 and a half. I was quite happy for him to sleep with it in his big boy bed because he knew how to walk around in it anyway so I didn't see it as a problem. They make them for older children too!

Anway, we talked about his new bed for a couple of weeks and how he could have sheets and blankets on it. Well - three days before the new bed arrived he decided he didn't want his bag anymore and wanted the sheets and blankets in the cot. Then when his big boy bed arrived he went straight into it with sheets and blankets - no problem at all.

So, I 'd suggest talking to her about it - she might just surprise you with how much she understands.
