I weaned DS off his when he was about 18 months. He was still in a cot but maybe just try putting her to bed during the day without it and even then just give it a go at night. I found summer the perfect time to do it as if they got out of the blankets they wouldnt get too cold, if they even needed blankets. He had no problems with it at all. So maybe just try it one night, she may surprise you.
