Weight and length of your babies 0-6 months

How much did your babies weight and how long were they at Birth, 2 months, 4 months, and 6 months:

    Chelsea:
    Birth- 3385gram, 48cm long
    2 months-4980 grams, 56cm long
    4 months- 6310 grams, 62.5cm long
    6 months- 7150 grams, 64cm long

    Jasmine:
    Birth-3535 grams, 52cm long
    2 months- 5750 grams, 60.3cm long
    4 months- 7975 grams, 68cm long
    6 months- not there yet

As you can see i have 2 very different babies. Both FF (well Jasmine was BF for first 3 weeks), have done nothing differently with either of them!

Jas had a check up today and her length and weight are off the charts..but the nurse is extremely happy even though her weight is above average BUT so is her height so in proportion overall! Jas also isnt a chubby baby nor does she have fat rolls

Its funny.. I took Ella bella for her 4 week check up and she was 54cm in lenght and 36.5cm head circumfrance..... that was the Exact height and head circumfrance of her brother (monkey boy Jacob :P) when he was born!!!!!!
No wonder he wasnt looking like coming out naturally when he was born! (was emergancy c section)

Its amazing the difference sometimes isnt it!!

I am really pleased with how my baby Ewan is going with his weight etc.

    Birth weight: 3720g (8 pound 3 ounces) 54cm long
    2 weeks: 4070g (8 pound 9 ounces) 54.5cm long
    6 weeks: 6170g (13 pound 10 ounces) 60cm long

I did say to the nurse and to the Dr "is it possible to make your child obese on breast milk" . They had a bit of a giggle and said no!! I really hope not, he is just piling on the weight!!

I have Yasin's weights somewhere in his blue book but TBH I haven't even bothered having Imran measured and weighed and I stopped getting Yasin measured at about a year. I can see for myself that they're gorgeous and healthy and growing out of all their clothes. I don't need a MCN to tell me that and I couldn't care less where they are on the charts because let's face it those charts should be thrown out - they're so irrelevant.

Nita, Imran was a big fatty boomba for ages on just BM but he's a lot skinnier now he's running and jumping.

Siblings can be so different. I don't have Jack's measurements handy and TBH I barely got Tom weighed. But both are fine and healthy and always have been. And Jack who barely eats is near the top of the weight charts and Tom who eats everything in sight and has been since 6months, is in the 10th weight percentile (and 75th percentile for height). And both were bfed so no difference there!

I think way too much emphasis is put on these numbers.

Marley is such a little midget!!! But eats like a horse.

    Birth- 3460 gram, 50cm long
    2 months- 4390 grams, 55cm long
    4 months- 6050 grams, 60cm long
    6 months- 6815 grams, 65cm long

At 18mths she still didn't crack the 10kg mark (9.580). She was FF from 2mths old. Chelsea was much bigger at all these times.

    Amazing how different they are.
