    I lost my voice when pg with Tom - Jack must have been about 16 or 17 months. It didn't take him long to realise that I couldn't tell him "no" so he deliberately touched things he wasn't supposed to. Just touch mind you, not do any real damage. Cheeky thing! I think he thought it was a game. But we did manage with me whispering to him and using actions. Kids are very perceptive, they know what you want from them even without much in the way of words.

    ETA The worst bit was when DH rang to see how we were managing - uh I have no voice, talking on the phone is a little difficult!
