Expect the unexpected. Imagination was something I longed for and now I have a child with autism instead. My child has taught me that parenting isn't my journey, it's about sharing somebody elses.

To enjoy the moments. To rediscover. To smell the roses. To look at everything with brand new eyes.

    Well....I try to

And it's doing wonders for my relationship with my beautiful husband

Patience. I am not the most patient person in the world. Actually, I have very little patience for most people. However it would seem that the powers that be anticipated this. So rather than let me waste the valuable patience that I have on unimportant things / people, it has made me save them all up for my DS and his brother to come. I am so much more patient with Mitchell than I am with anyone.
