Lol I'm a bit of an Imelda Marcos with my shoes and ALSO with the two little ones.....

Oskar has: gumboots, play runners, good runners, nice black canvas shoes, nice beige/green shoes.... summer we have 2 x thongs, sandals x 2 and bare feet at home. This is a lot less than when he was smaller lol.

Elijah: I'm not entirely sure as some of Oskar's old shoes will fit him but I haven't been through them properly yet. The main difference with them as this age and foot size is Oskar wasn't walking so his were more pre-walker shoes... so not proper soles. For that reason I have bought a couple of new ones for Elijah just recently. So, he has a nice pair and a semi good pair on top of pre-walkers which there's probably about a good half dozen pairs - ahem ...lol. He only really started wearing shoes as it got cooler though. I'm actually trying to find some not exy play shoes for him so he doesn't trash his nice ones in the backyard playing.

Oh and they both have slippers too... forgot about that...lol.

We have two pairs of whatever seems practical and is on special at Kmart (they have a good range of kid's shoes there) and slippers. Need *two* pairs of shoes because someone loves to play with water outside, so we need options for when one pair is drying. I've been leaning towards more 'cloth' shoes than leather/vinyl just because they dry faster and are less likely to shrink.

The slippers are so she can wear the same as everyone else inside. Big sister has pink fluffy ugg boots so little sister does too.
