Just wondering what sorts of shoes ppl buy each year/season for their toddler/preschooler.
Winter
I usually aim to get one solid pair of runners, plus another shoe for every day wear, plus rubber boots, a nicer pair of shoes for 'stepping out' and slippers. This year I've ended up (thanks to op shop bargains) with an extra pair of suede runners, and an extra pair of dusty pink leather boots that look nice on.
Summer
2 pairs of crocs/jellies, everyday 'sensible' sandals, and some pretty stepping out sandals. That's it.
Boots. Gumboots and elastic sided Riding boots. And slippers. Nothing else LOL. He loves his boots. I really need to get him a pair of joggers though for when LIttle Athletics starts. In summer we do thongs, sandals and barefeet.
A pair of ugg boots
A pair of Bobux i-walk mary jane's (quite an investment but a great, sturdy & good looking shoe)
A pair of Everlast sneakers that DH insisted on
In summer she had a couple of pairs of Bobux slippers, but otherwise went bare.
My poor DS only has 1 pair - sandals, and DD's not much better, a pair of croc type closed in shoes and her thongs ATM.
Usually though I like her to have going out shoes, home shoes appropriate to season and slippers for winter.
Funny though, shoes are never really what I think about when I buy them clothes - it's more of a buy as they need them thing.
