I found on those really bad nights, I had to stop looking at the clock otherwise it would just be too depressing!!!! That was mainly with DD1.
Thankfully DD2 is a MUCH better sleeper. But we do still have bad nights mainly when she's sick.
They say counting the sleep you didn't get, is the worst thing!! But it's hard not to hey? Especially when you need toothpicks to keep your eyes open the next day.

I hope your little ones are feeling better today & you had a better night last night. Mine was about the same. DD has a cold & is teething. I'm so over it though. She's cut 3 teeth in 6 weeks & showing all the classic teething signs for about 3 months prior to the first one coming through. There's another one almost there but probably still a few weeks away. DH is taking her to the dr today about her cold/cough as her chest is now really rattlely so hopefully it is just a cold & nothing worse. I think I can expect a lot more of this over the next 12 months since she has just started daycare
) and didn't come to bed til almost 1am. DS woke before then, upset, needed a drink. DD woke again. DH crashed after leaving the light on in our room while I was with DS
