All of my kids still come & chat to me while I'm in the shower, including my 13yo son & 15yo daughter.. ok, so they don't get in with me, but I don't think you have to worry about scarring them, if you leave it up to them as to what they are comfortable with you're pretty safe.
They are all very modest when it's them showering / bathing, but me...meh, I'm a mum ... they seem to think I'm immune, privacy? What privacy?

FWIW I think we stopped showering / bathing together around 4 -6 years...soemthing like that. They will definitely let you know
lol oh yeah WHAT privacy huh! I do love that your kids are that comfortable with you that they come and talk to you

My 2 little ones come and go in and out lol. Oskar is 4 in March and still wants to sometimes shower with me. My eldest (17) will stand near the door and call out if he wants to ask something but doesn't come in.

We are doing the child-led thing too. My boys still shower with me (almost 4 and 17 months) and they love it!

Sorry that I cannot comment on the OP, but will be watching this thread as I never grew up with that type of closeness to my parents...never had a bath or shower with them, and I never have with P.

When you don't all fit in the bath together anymore (and you can't afford a new bigger bath)! LOL

good question, I hadn't really thought about it but I do remember my mother was always walking naked from the bathroom that had the bath in it to their main bedroom and non of us blinked an eyelid so no scaring there.

I will let my kids lead the way. If they're still comfortable to do it, then so am I. LOL, some days we aaallll have a shower together. Our ensuite shower is just big enough to fit the 4 of us into it, so some days it's all 4 of us in there!! Might get a bit squishy with 5 though.....

Both Dh and I had it with our parents until we were about 9-10. But I do remember showering with Mum for a lot longer than Dad. We still do it with ours as well - often I'll have the kids all in the bath while I have a shower (we have a separate bath and shower)and DS1 is nearly 10. I think I will be quite comfortable doing for a while yet. Plus I think it gives them a healthy attitude to the naked body kwim? So long as everyone is still comfortable with it, then there is no reason to stop at all Prama.
