I will let my kids lead the way. If they're still comfortable to do it, then so am I. LOL, some days we aaallll have a shower together. Our ensuite shower is just big enough to fit the 4 of us into it, so some days it's all 4 of us in there!! Might get a bit squishy with 5 though.....

Both Dh and I had it with our parents until we were about 9-10. But I do remember showering with Mum for a lot longer than Dad. We still do it with ours as well - often I'll have the kids all in the bath while I have a shower (we have a separate bath and shower)and DS1 is nearly 10. I think I will be quite comfortable doing for a while yet. Plus I think it gives them a healthy attitude to the naked body kwim? So long as everyone is still comfortable with it, then there is no reason to stop at all Prama.

I distinctly remember my little brother saying one day that he wants to shower alone. So I'm sure when they are ready for privacy they speak out! HTH

well I am will be the odd one out, I dont shower with Jack anymore and haven't except once or twice when in a hurry since he was 2 1/2yr old this is at Jase's request, not mine per se

Jack still showers with Jase though

I grew up seeing mum naked still see her naked if I am visiting and she is getting dressed etc...Jase's parents are much more private etc...so I am guessing we are a semi compromise

Actually, that's an interesting point Trill, there isn't the same openness with DH. Not sure if it's because of a different relationship, or because he's a man? Even DS will give DH more privacy...with me they just don't seem to care.

I always liked to take mine in the shower to save time when we need to get ready and go out fast, but the older ones started resisting it at about 5/6. Pretty much when they start school!
