When to stop using movement monitor?

Hi everyone,

We have a Babysense movement monitor and I think I read somewhere that I should stop using it at 12 months.

Does anyone know why this is? Will it hurt if I continue past 12 months?

I have the babysense breathing monitor and I asked the lady in babyzone why it says to use up until 12 months. She said that you can use it for as long as you like. It says until 12 months because the risk of risk drecreases after 12 months.
