Me too! DS is all over the place. Sometimes every 1-2 hours, sometimes only 2-3 times a night. I just keep reminding myself that one day he'll be a teenager and we won't be able to get him out of bed. Yes, that is soooo comforting
Princess X - nope, it won't kill you, but you do sort of become like the walking dead. 'Guuaargh' (That's a traditional zombie greeting, btw)
And you're not doing anything wrong, she's just not sleeping well yet, that's all. I refuse to entertain the idea that I'm a crappy parent cause DS doesn't sleep through the night.

Megimoppit, hope you have another good one.

mbear - yikes. hope last night wasn't so bad for you.
Agreed, we aren't bad parents! We are really good zombies......

Im joining!! DS is up many times a night. He goes down at 7pm and for a while he'd go until midnight, but for the last month he'll go to 10pm latest. From then he is in with me and feeds every hour or two, it's ok as I sleep in between and dont have to get up BUT DD2 has been sick nearly a month now (diff things) and I've been getting up to her too. So every time she wakes DS wakes as I disrupt him. Been awful and I am so tired I can't see straight.....

We're in! There has been tag team parent torture here recently - sick kids up each hour, feeding frenzies - the last 3 months have meant between 3-5 hrs of broken sleep max a night. Poor DH has turned up for meetings in the wrong spot/wrong day, very dodgy standards of cooking/cleaning here and we've all put on weight from comfort eating. Not good BUT we are all ok and still in reasonably good humour.
My 3yo still has her nights, luckily last night was a quick wake up call. DD2 had her first night sleeping through EVER last night. We have had very little sleep here since DD1 arrived - I have tried all sorts of methods and NOTHING worked. I felt like a failure and was very over people making suggestions - but not helping!
Hang in there girls - you are all doing a great job!!!!!

That sounds really hard! *yawn* I don't know how you do it!!! I'm with you on the advice... don't people realise that we have tried everything! (Within reason... I wont put port in my DD1's last bottle ).

Wow PX that is full on - hope you manage to get a nap today! I cope just like everyone else does - knowing it will pass eventually and optimistically hoping it will be 'tonight'!!! Plus I go to bed really early... no outings here in the evenings - it is just not worth it. Honestly though I have struggled with people being flippant about how it must be something to do with me - MIL is convinced it is what I feed the girls....very annoying!

    Enjoy your day!
