my 1st and 2nd children walked at 10 and half and just before 11 months.

My 3rd did everything before them, she sat earlier, she rolled earlier, she was pulling herself up on furniture at 7 months and walking around the furniture at 8 months. We naturally thought she would walk befor xmas, before 10 months. She on the other hand decided that crawling was safe and spider crawling is super fast. She took 14 step at 11 and a half months and now, just over 12 months is a little more confident to take off by herself. Tongiht she has walked the most she ever has.

Just goes to show they have a mind of their own, and no type of encouragement could get her to do it before she was ready.
