    Clicky joints

    Hi,
My 3 month old daughter has got clicky joints in her wrists elbows and shoulders. This only seems to have started in the last few days. Is this normal and is it something I should be concerned about? I have heard of clicky hips but not the arms. Her hips and legs seem fine.

It kinda sounds normal to me. I think until they are in their late teens their joints still have gaps in them...if that makes sense! My pead told me that with our DS#2 when I asked if he needed a us on his hips as a diff pead had done one on our eldest. (we didn't get one done)

I know with my boys (3 yrs and 18 months) their wrists will 'click' if for instance they are sitting down and you pull them up.....know what i mean???? (hopeless sometimes trying to say in print what i mean! )

If in doubt though...see a GP or even a Chiro!

    take care

My baby girl had clicky joints whilst inside me... every now and then I would hear a clicking sound and know it was from her. She still has clicky joints and they're her wrists & arms... I am not too worried about it though as she isn't bothered by it.

My bubba's clicky too. Shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees... freaked me out a bit too but my MCHN told me that it's 'normal' and that the only thing that could be of concern is clicky hips. Gee this motherhood caper is full of worries we didn't expect isn't it?!
