Mr Frog
Mr Frog jumped out of his pond one day
and found himself in the rain
Says he "i'll get wet and i might catch a cold -
Ahh, ahhh, ahhh chooo!!!"
So he jumped in the pond again - ribbit!

Five in the Bed
There were 5 in the bed
and the little on said -
"roll over, roll over"
So they all rolled over and 1 fell out...bang!

Then there were...4 in the bed
and the little one said..... continue til last one

Gee the Five Little Ducks song brings back memories, i sang that to DD when she was going under anaesthetic. I dont sing it anymore...

One song i did sing that calmed her straight away was the Rabbit Song. Do you remember the ad for wine. Theres no hand actions but the song goes;

'On the farm,
every friday,
on the farm, its rabbit pie day,
so every friday that ever comes along,
i get up early and sing this little song,

run rabbit, run rabbit, run run run,
dont give the farmer his fun fun fun,

he'll get by, without his rabbit pie if you run rabbit run rabbit run run run.

DS will only settle to this Hi-5 song:

Spidy spidy spider,
weave your web wider,
criss cross up and all around,
web weaving spidy, spider.

Not really nursery rhymes but they settle my kids .
