Each person is different with the amount of sleep they need each night
....i agree. It does sound like a long day for him, esp if he has been stirring during the night. I guess they're like us...if we've had a crappy night sleep, then we usually go to be earlier the next night. Maybe take each day and assess how his night b4 has been. Maybe on the odd day he does need to go down for a nap at say 11am rather than 1130am...KWIM ??

Whilst we have a general nap time and bed time each day DH and i follow, i always work it into the kind of day we've had. For example yesterday we stayend in our pj's till midday, watched a dvd in the arvo and ate chocolate, and played on swings in arvo - so a lazy day really, so we didnt put them to bed till 730pm (usually 7pm)......just take each day....good luck !

Yeah sometimes I do put him down earlier say at like 11...

He is still sleeping now - I just worry cos even if he has a couple of hours sleep he always has dark circles under his eyes..

Maybe its got to do with his "no meat" diet? (his choice - not mine!)

The dark circles would have a lot to do with not eating meat. As long as you're substituting red meat for other foods high in iron (providing he will eat them though!).

Hmmm.. not really... hard to get him to eat ANYTHING...except for fruit sticks, cheese, fresh fruit.... and plain bread... thats about it.... I give him vitamins every day though..

Sounds like he loves his fruit, LOL. How about eggs, baked beans or vegies? All of those are good in iron.
How long did he sleep for today? Sounds like he had a decent sleep.
