    swine flu vaccine

Both our paediatrician and our GP have strongly encouraged DH, myself and our 7 month old boy to have the swine flu vaccine.

I was just wondering if anyone has had their baby vaccinated and if they experienced any side-effects.

I have had a look around for threads for info on the swine flu vaccine, but they seem to be largely pregnancy-related. If there is a thread on this topic already in existence, please point me in the right direction .

    Thanks

    hello to you,
i would strongly discourage you from getting your baby vaccinated against the swine flu.my local council lady that does the vaccine pressured me to get it.i was not aware of the side affects that it would have on my 6 mth old.ever since he got it hes been so sick with high temps, aches and pains, will not take his bottle anymore, and wakes up nearly every hour through the night where he used to sleep through and is soooooooooooo cranky.i wish she never offered it to me.
i was also not told that it contains Mercury.
I would NOT have got the vaccine if new how sick he would get from it and that was over 3 weeks ago and hes still not himself. please do some research before getting it.
    i wish i had.

Kelly has posted this link on the swine flu which may interest you:

I would also recommend investigating before you vaccinate - especially the vaccine ingredients, which are listed according to pathogen (vaccine type) and manufacturer on the WAVE website (World Organisation for Vaccine Education). Just the same as if you went to the supermarket and checked that a food is free of harmful additives. You have a right (and arguably, a responsibility) to know exactly what could be injected into your child's bloodstream so that you can make a fully informed decision.

    Best wishes.
