Had a phone call from the ATO at lunchtime confirming some details and this afternoon my income is on centrelink with my supplements / top ups for underestimated income being paid in on Monday

Hopefully won't be too long before I get my tax refund.

My tax is finished and sitting here waiting for DH to pull his finger out and do his - so frustrating!!! Money just waiting to help us out and I can't lodge it - AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!

Looks like I'll have to start nagging!!

Great to hear that claims are being processed for quickly this year. That is a bit of a relief.

Ring the ATO if you're worried, you'll have to wait on hold, but if you are really urgent on the money ask them what is happenning and if it just cued tell them you would like to request an 'escalation'. If nothing else, they should be able to tell you when you are due to have your money put into your account or sent as a cheque or what is holding it up. Have your TFN on you.

We did DH's just before christmas last year (were waiting on a summery that never came) & they paid it spot on 14 days later... Christmas day!

It's normal to take up to 21 days

    this is totally NORMAL!

if you lodge a tax return and you are due an FTB payment (or are simply FTB current on the system) your result (either credit or debit) will be sent to the opposite department to see if they need to take any of the money. there is no point giving you a tax refund if you have been over paid family tax benefit, and vice verse

if the information is being transferred between the two, the process is still deemed to be NORMAL until it has been stuck there for 28 days

Did our tax just a bit under 2weeks ago and got our supplements in my account today! Was a very nice top up. No CCB or quarterly CCR but I pressume that might come later. Havent received tax returns yet but probably by the end of the week.

My partner put his tax (business) in via an accountant on the 5th July. I did online non lodgement on the same night. My income was showing by the 7th. We got my partners tax refund on the 18th. His info hasnt shown up on centrelink site yet and I am starting to panic that something is wrong. I rang up a couple times.. got such conflicting info and now am angry at myself for ringing as its just upset me and stressed me out more... Got told on the 18th i should expect the supps by end of the week...but obviously thats not the case... Has anyone else had this happen and it been a happy ending? I am sorry if i seem impatient.. im a stress head by nature ...

if your partners details aren't showing on FAO online services yet, there is no way for FAO to reconcile anything and pay your supplements

it is normal to take several weeks. so far this year it has been quicker than this, but it is not out of the ordinary for it to take several weeks.

if you have your partners notice of assessment (not just the return in the bank, the actual letter from the tax office) AND it's been 3 weeks since the date of issue on it, ring FAO and they can try and force it through within about 10 days - before that, there isn't much that can be done as the ATO needs several weeks to issue the information across in some circumstances

Sorry I know this has been asked but can't find it anywhere or I'm just having a boys look, LOL!!

Are our quarterly childcare rebates being paid as normal or are they being held until our tax and family assistance is reconcilled?

What timeframes are people currently experiencing for tax refunds? Not expecting ours any time soon as we only just lodged but just curious what waiting times currently are?

    Thanks.
