Our contents itself is $100k. On top of that though are the heirlooms, my specifically listed jewellery, laptops, camera, and my stock for the shop. All up it is over $200k (most of that being made up by 3 particular antiques).

The other thing we discovered is that sot furnishings are covered under contents, and not the building insurance - so carpets, blinds etc are replaced from that contents insurance, and not when they rebuild the house. Something to think about.

Ours is $85K. We just redid it. I'm pretty sure it's accurate though i don't know what would happen in case of fire and the car in the garage was damaged, whether that's covered by car insurance or contents insurance.

We're just doing our life insurance now. i hate forms and the details the want are so private.
