In my head I was preparred to have my baby 10days past my EDD (as that's when I knew the hospital would be pushing induction if I went over) but also in my head and heart I knew bub would be early. I kept this to myself however as I didn't want to be disappointed or have people asking have I had the baby yet. I thought she would come at 38weeks.
The day before she was born I was talking to my midwife friend and admitted I was sure it was going to happen very soon (that was 9pm) she arrived 11am the next day at 36+3. No warning until my waters broke at 6am, no bags packed, camera etc so she arrived even earlier then I expected.
With no1 I was expecting to go over due. I also wasn't preparred when I went into labour at 39weeks. I could have gone another few weeks not expecting it to happen lol
If no3 ever comes I will be expecting it to arrive early (due to the past 2) and will probably have it after I expect it.
in my heart i *knew* that DD would come at 38 weeks. but i did shove it to the back as i read so many books telling us first-timers that we all think we'll go early. but sure enough at 38+1 my waters broke in the afternoon and she arrived the following dawn.
I was certain DS1 would be a week early (he was ten days late), and I "knew" that DS2 would be late, but I went into labour bang on my due date.
With the twins my prediction was that I would go into labour about 2am, and I did, but the date I cannot pretend was a surprise as I had given myself several sweeps and was aware I was 3cm dilated when I went to bed the night I went into labour
my EDD with DD was 28-5-08 but i had the 17th stuck in my head and everyone kept tellin me i was stupid and that u always go over with ya first.
on the 17th we were at my nephews 1st bday party and i was so uncomfy and couldnt sit down my back was killing and i coudlnt stop rocking. after that party we were ment to go to a 18th we got there and i as we got out of the car i just started bawling and wanted to go home so we left. that night i coudlnt sleep. the next day 18th i got up and had pains in my back on and off so we decided to go fishing lol. that arvo i rang mum and told he ri thought i was in labour but it was my back that hurt not my tummy. ended up goign to the hosp that night and had her 2pm on 19th.
so technically i didnt have her on the 17th liek i thought the whole time but prelabour started ont he 17th so i was close.
a weird thing was that a few months ago i kept having dreams about 19th sept i coudlnt remember the dreams but i would wake up thinkin about the 19th sept. and now writing this i am thinkin maybe that is a feeling about this preg. my EDD this time is 20th oct so that 4 weeks early so we will see wat happend lol
The Saturday before DD was born I said that I had three aims...
The following Tuesday as the Baby Bonus increased
36 Weeks as it meant that I could deliver at my private hospital
Full Term...
I didn't even make it to the Tuesday, DD was born at 10:37pm, on the 30th June, @ 33 weeks... I have always wondered why in my mind did I even have a date that was so early as an aim

My ex & I had a bet going on DD1's arrival. She was due on July 24. I had the 17th in my head from the minute we got the BFP, and my ex decided to go for the 18Th as the day he thought she would be born. I won by 5 minutes as she was born at 11:55pm on the 17th.
I thought for sure DD2 would be late. Actually, I never thought anything else than her being a week overdue. She came on her due date.
