Interesting reading.

It was mentioned in part A that 'we now have quite good studies to show that it is safer to deliver a breach presentation baby by caesarean' - is this true? Is that just because not a lot of Obs. are experienced in it whilst they're experienced in ceasers so by default the ceaser is safer??

Aaah part B just stated re. breech births 'the vaginal breech births.... very common when I was training and it's now becoming more and more likely that those births will be by caesarean section. That may well be the appropriate thing but it has the unfortunate side effect that obstetricians of the future will be very much de-skilled in dealing with those problems when they need to deal with them.'
