I'm not sure it's all about what the hospital staff prefer? Wouldn't it be best to do what is right for the individual? If hospital staff prefered I had all my pubic hair removed I would have a huge issue on my hands as I personally associate an absence of hair down their with pre-pubescence and I have a few psychological scars about that time of my life. I've no desire to return to the vulnerable state that is girl-hood. Also, at the end of the day the hair is there for a reason (thanks again for posting that Katkins) and nursing staff/doctors would most likely acknowledge that. I guess we all have our own thoughts on the matter but I just can't get beyond the associations I have with it not being "right" that pre-pubescent hoo-haa's are doing all these sexual things like giving birth. It's a huge shame that some women are feeling pressured into spending time and money and enduring huge ammounts of PAIN to remove their hair. What does it all mean? Is being a woman down there so ugly?
