Was it easier or harder 2nd time around?

i always thought the more you had the easier it got and for me this was the case till number 6
ds 1 4.5 hours
dd 1 3.5 hours
dd 2 1.5 hours
dd 3 28 mins
dd 4 50 mins
dd 2 4hours and 48 minuets but he was breech so maybe that made the differanve not sure
but the whole recovery time and looking after bub was eaisier but i think that is mostly a confidence thing more then the work got easier

... I can't answer as I have not had a 2nd bub ... BUT 'all' my friends second births were shorter than the 1st

... My one & only birth was 2&half hrs ... (gave birth 39mins after arriving at the hospital) ... am terrified if the 2nd bub came quicker ... not sure if I would make it to the hospital in time

after reading this i am hoping my next birth will be shorter and easier. first time round was induced and it hurt like hell went for i think around 15ish hours! i cant believe most of you guys had such short ones! 28 MINUTES oh my GOD- sounds like heaven! hehe
