i didn't have a birth plan for exactly that reason. i'd discussed with DH and my SIL (support person) what i'd prefer, and asked them to talk to me if i started asking for things i hadn't wanted (like the Epi). i managed to go several hours past my "over it" point before having any meds.

given that you will probably need extra monitoring for VBAC, make sure you talk to them about the portable monitors they can put on (wireless) and what is to happen with the bath and moving around. make it as clear as possible that you want an active birth

take an MP3 cd of music - the cd players at w'gul are compatible - i didn't hear the same song for 12 hours lol

ummm massage oil - i never used any! i took a carrier oil in case i wanted something - i figured i would want to massage, not the smell kwim?

ooh, meant to mention on the weekend - w'gul do cloth for newborns - all you need is a cover! you might be able to get away with little miss never having to wear disposables if you want - feel free to PM me if you want more info about them once bub is here!
