GC hospy... do i HAVE to vbac?

i am really wanting a vbac f0r this baby, and have wanted a h0mebirth since i had my s0n 15 m0nths ag0.

But lets just say hyp0thetically i g0 t0 h0spy (g0ld c0ast) d0 i have t0 vbac if i d0nt want t0? what are pe0ples 0pti0ns??? d0 we have 0pti0ns?

You'd more than likely find that if you didn't want to vbac no one would try to convince you otherwise.

Usually the situation is that women who want a vbac have to argue for that, not the other way around. Haven't actually heard of anyone who has been "forced" to vbac against their wishes.

Generally you "should" be offered the VBAC first up. Esp if there was no unlying reason for your first c section anyway.

I have had 2 homebirths after my c section and can honestly say that's the only way I would do it.

You'll actually find that Gold Coast hospital is pretty much against anyone having a vbac. Ive had a few friends fight and argue all they could about wanting a vbac and all they said was to go to Tweed. They tend to be the only hospital around that supports women wanting a vbac. I did most of my Midwifery training at Tweed and they are lovely down there. Id definitely recommend the hospital to anyone.
