I missed the bit in your first post where you said you were in hosp as you were GBS+. I had the same with DS, so went to hospital after an hour of SROM to be given a cannula. Luckily, the labour ward was really busy so I was put on an antenatal ward, given until the next morning (so 33+ hours) and told to walk by my mw. So maybe ask if you could be given a bit longer before they start trying to help you along, say 24hours or so. FWIW, my labour with DD took 16hours to start and with DS took 24hours to start after SROM.
