With DD I was induced at 42+4 and my midwife was happy to let me go to 43/44 with regular monitoring at the Maternal & fetal assesment unit. Unfortunately by 42+2 my blood pressure started to spike and the placenta was failing so I got 2 days to go into spontaneous labour before being induced (got to love the cruisy attitude to such things in NZ).
