Sorry Caro you are wrong. Normal physiological birth means no interference, it's more defined than natural birth. Birth out of the vagina is vaginal birth but women are too embarrased to use the word. I have no problem saying it but the word vagina is in my vocabulary almost every day in the work I do, so I am immune to embarassment about it.
Alan, a midwife who works in the RWH told me of all the first time mums coming in for an induction, around 50%+ end up with a c/s.... thats high to me. I guess there are different forms of inductions too which all have different implications.
