Sorry I can't see all the posts, tapatalk isn't working on my phone ATM

I was booked in to be induced and they cancelled me 3 times!! On the 4th time we got to hossy at 6.30am and we didn't get a bed til 11.30am!! I really hope they don't do it to you. Hopefully the delay gives bub the go ahead to get a wriggle on by herself... :-)

Being overdue is very hard to take. I totally understand your frustration, anger and fears about being overdue. I know it is hard to wait because every hour seems like 5, all parts of your body ache and you just get to the point when you think it will never happen. It will be ok, things can change very quickly and soon you'll be holding your beautiful little girl in your arms.

Just remember all that pre-labour IS making a difference.

Thanks for all your replies girls.

Mum2Ramone- I've tried: curry, chilli, nipple stimulation, sex, walking, bouncing on excercise ball, getting down on all fours and rocking, shaking my booty, evening primrose oil, raspberry leaf tea, 4wd, relaxing, scrubbing floors, crawling round with DS on my back. Um I think that's all, but I've tried all those things several times over.

Nothing overnight but I did spend a really nice evening with DF and DS watching Couples Retreat. DS went to bed super early and we ended up doing the same and having a really nice chat in bed and some 'mummy daddy time' so maybe that will help things along.

I woke up a few times through the night to painful contractions and have had a few more this morning. I've decided not to time them and not to take much notice of them unless they start to really ramp up. I've just made a yummy breaky. DS is at daycare today so DF and I are just going to have a lazy day, possibly go see Harry Potter later.

I've decided that maybe this princess will come before they are willing to do anything, maybe not. I just need to let go. DF was pretty upset yesterday too but I think the more we let go the more things will happen. I'm not sure how long this letting go mood will last, but hopefully it helps me mentally.

Letting go is good.. the day DD2 was born i cleaned my entire lounge (lifting and moving couch included) and played outside with DD1, sat on the ground playing with chalk and in her sandpit.. the pains i had thought were nothing as they weren't anything like DD1's.. ah yep WRONG.
Relax and enjoy your 'ummy' time with your DS.. you never know it might just be what you need.

You know what I reckon you need to do? Have a big old ugly cry. Just get yourself worked up and let it all out in a big messy cry session with rivers of snot and everything LOL. Crying is an excellent way to release built up tension and emotion.

Ahh, I have been thinking of you this morning. I'm glad to hear you're feeling better about it; and I agree, letting go is good. It will all happen when & how it is meant to
I am still looking forward to hearing your news

Still nothing. Just had almost a 3 hour sleep so maybe now my body feels recharged a bit something will happen??

Must say its really hard having about 6 people sending text messages every 8 hours asking what's happening and the family too "nothing yet?" Nope I'm pretty sure I would have let you know lol.

Going to go see Harry Potter tomorrow if we're not in hospital by then. My hospital appointment is at 1:50pm so you never know she might get excited by the movie and decide to come on the way up there lol

Well if she comes during HP then you'd have to call her Hermoine, surely?

Just make your place nice and safe, your body won't let you birth if it doesn't feel safe. And turn off your mobile to ignore all texts!!!!!

(and in a couple of weeks, you'll be telling me what worked for you!!!)

Our beautiful baby was born at 11:47am this morning. Guess what... ITS A BOY!!! We had no names prepared so I'm on the hunt right now for a gorgeous name to suit our gorgeous boy.

I'll be back a little later to fill you all in on the details.
