I'd go bonkers if I went past 38 weeks now!

I have been wondering about this - DD was born at 37+6 after a 5.5 hour labour. Freaking out that I will be one of 'those' stories on the news with the baby being born in the back of the car en route to the hospital!

    Yes for me.
Both my girls were born at the same gestation, 38 weeks exactly (spontaneous labour with pre-labour/labour starting 3 days before.)

    nope,
    DD1 38wks,
    DD2 40+8wks
    DD3 40+6wks..

but the expectation that they will come early sent me nuts too DD1 was the easiest because I had no expectations on when she would arrive. Then for DD2 I was sure she would come early and didnt and that extra time sent me crazy. With DD3 I was more relaxed cause I knew there was no pattern and I couldnt predict when she would come
